Irresistibly swimming Bete Krokodil 70 mm spoon has become a legend among pike fishers in Finland. It is easy to cast and works well in both fresh water and salt water. Born in Sweden around 1950s and 1960s the Bete spoons were developed by two very imaginative brothers, the Tysklinds, who were eager to try and design a very broad range of lures. Like the original Swedish Bete spoons our Bete lures are also manufactured from real copper, brass and German silver with traditional tools, and each material gives the lure subtle characteristics that are part of their fish catching abilities. In sunny weather the metal surface of the lure is very efficient and irresistible for fish, and the lively manner of the way Bete Krokodil swims just enhances it. Bete Krokodil spoons are the prime example of efficiency and sustainability: it takes over twenty work stages to manufacture this seemingly simple lure which can easily last many years of intense fishing.
